In this episode, we talk with Vanessa about her path from growing up with very little to paying off years of debt and starting fresh. As the daughter of Mexican immigrants, she was raised in a home full of love, time, and generosity, but without much conversation around money.

That lack of guidance followed her into adulthood, where credit cards and a desire to give freely led to a long stretch of debt. Vanessa shares what it felt like to carry that weight, and the moments that pushed her to do something different.

We get into the practical changes she made, the mindset shifts that helped her stay consistent, and how moving back in with her parents became a turning point rather than a setback.  She also shares how she learned to talk about money more openly and find a better balance between supporting others and taking care of herself.

It is an honest look at how easy it is to fall into debt, and what it takes to climb back out.
